What is Neem ?
      Neem (Azadirachta indica) is an evergreen tree natvie to India. Neem is a tree in the mahogany family meliaceae.
      Neem is a tropical - sub tropical tree. It can grow upto height of of 15-20 m and dense rounded crown of pinnate leaves can spread upto 12-15m in diameter over the age.
      The trunk can reach upto diameter 1m-1.5m. Neem root system consists of a taproot and lateral roots. It has hard,scaly, brown bark. The alternate, pinnate leaves are 20-40 cm long. The very young leaves are reddish to purple in colour.
      The white flowers are relatively small, 5-6mm long and 8-11mm wide. The elongate oval fruit is green in color when it is unripe and turns to yellow as it is ripe. It has thin waxy skin and bitter sweet pulp.
